Getting started
- Analyze your first video
Paste a YouTube URL and get an outline, section summaries, a video summary, and a mind map in seconds.
- Which videos are supported?
Any public YouTube video works; members-only / paid videos are not supported.
- How long does it take? Captions vs. Whisper?
Most videos finish within tens of seconds. Captions are fastest; speech-to-text (no captions) is slower.
Features
- What are the four analyses?
Outline, section summaries, video summary, mind map — condensing the video from different angles.
- Timestamp jumping
Timestamps in an analysis are clickable and jump straight to that second on YouTube.
- Editing an analysis
AI results are editable; your edits override the display and can be reset to the AI original anytime.
- Workspaces and folders
Organize your analyses with folders; Pro and above can create multiple workspaces.
- Ask the video with Q&A
Ask questions right on the analysis page; answers are grounded in the transcript, with timestamps on the parts they cite.
- Channel subscriptions and daily email
Subscribe to YouTube channels; new uploads land in a daily email digest with one-click analysis.
- Browser extension and API keys
Analyze and ask questions right in a sidebar on the YouTube watch page; connect with an API key.
- Dark mode and font size
Switch light / dark / follow-system and adjust the interface font size. Settings are stored in your local browser.
- Export an analysis (Markdown / JSON / PDF)
Export the content as Markdown or JSON, or save it as a PDF via your browser; the transcript can also be exported as plain text, subtitles (SRT / VTT), Word, and more.
- Regenerate a section
Not happy with the video summary, section summaries, or mind map? Regenerate that section with AI, with optional instructions.
- Organize with My Labels
Add private, only-you labels to analyses, then filter and manage them from the library sidebar.
- Highlights & notes
Highlight the summary, sections, and transcript, and jot notes; four colours work as categories, all collected in the Highlights & notes panel.
- Quiz: generating and answering
Generate multiple-choice / true-false questions from the video, pick the ones you want into a quiz, then get backend grading with timestamps.
- View the transcript (only you)
Expand the transcript on the analysis page and check the content against timestamps. Only you can see it — it never appears in public shares.
- Deleting analyses and the Trash
Delete analyses you no longer need. Deleted items go to Trash where you can restore them anytime; they're cleared automatically after 30 days. You can also select multiple at once.
- Translate to other languages (language versions)
Use the language switcher on the result page to read content in other languages. Every video stays as one card no matter how many languages; when adding a language, choose Translate (cheap, read-only) or Re-analyze (native, editable and shareable).
- Analyze a whole playlist
Paste a playlist URL, pick the videos you want, and submit them at once; anything over your concurrent limit queues automatically.
- Videos with several speakers: who said what
For interviews, conversations and panels, chapter points and summaries say who said what. Names come from introductions in the video and its description.
- Workspaces (keep analyses separate)
Split your analyses into separate spaces (e.g. "Investing", "Work"), each with its own folders and list. Pro gets 3, Pro+ gets 10.
Sharing
- Three-tier public sharing
Tier 1 public summary, Tier 2 sign-in for full, Tier 3 requires channel-owner verification.
- Tags and Discovery
Publicly shared analyses get automatic tags and appear on the Discover page so others can find them by topic.
- Turn a summary into a social thread
Rewrite the video summary into a Twitter / Threads thread in one click. First generation is free; regenerating costs 1 credit.
- Quotes: extracting and sharing
Extract the most memorable lines from the video, each with a timestamp, and turn any one into a shareable card. First time free; re-extracting costs 1 credit.
Account & billing
- How credits work
All AI actions cost credits: analysis scales with video length (from 5 per 30 min, cheaper with captions), Q&A 1, regenerate 1-2. Paid plans grant fixed monthly credits; Free is earn-based (sign-up gift + daily check-in).
- Plans and credits
Free / Plus / Pro / Pro+ grant fixed monthly credits; reset monthly with no rollover, and you can buy top-ups.
- Daily check-in
Check in daily for +1 credit (expires in 30 days), on every plan. Free-plan credits mainly accumulate via check-ins.
- Upgrade / manage subscription / out of quota
Upgrade on the Plans page; existing subscribers switch plan or cancel right in the app.
- Refer friends for quota
Refer a friend and you both get a one-time +30 credits (expire in 30 days). Get your code / redeem a friend's code on the Account page.
- Public URL name
Your public share links include this name; it starts as a random code and can be changed once.
