dbrand Forced me to Review the iPhone 18 Pro

Video summary

The iPhone 18 Pro’s A20 Pro delivers major speed gains, while the Pro Max streams video for 34 hours and 18 minutes.

At first, the iPhone 18 Pro seemed too similar to the 17 Pro to deserve a review, until LTT Labs results revealed a striking leap. Its A20 Pro super core breaks 4,000 Geekbench single-core points, and gaming performance stays exceptional: after 20 Wildlife Extreme runs, it still scores above 6,000, around 50% ahead of other tested phones. The 1TB and 2TB models’ QLC storage can slow to about 45 MB/s when full buffers run out, though. Battery life is another standout: the Pro Max streamed video over Wi-Fi for 34 hours and 18 minutes, while the Pro reached roughly 50% charge in 15 minutes. Camera upgrades include a 48-megapixel Sony sensor with variable aperture, plus more photographic controls, though the reviewer says they are not a reason alone to upgrade. The video closes with Apple Intelligence features that create Shortcuts from text, improve photo cleanup, and let Siri find personal details in messages.
