Xiaomi made an iPhone Duo. It’s Unhinged.

影片總結

Xiaomi 18 Fold beats the iPhone Duo on weight, battery and multitasking, but overheating and rough software spoil the experience.

Xiaomi’s 18 Fold closely mirrors the iPhone Duo’s dimensions and 5.4-inch cover screen, unfolding into a 7.6-inch display with a barely visible crease. It is thinner and lighter at 219 g versus 254 g, yet packs a 6,000 mAh battery, 67 W charging, brighter 4,000-nit displays, three rear cameras and two physical SIM slots, starting around $1,640. Its standout software trick runs six apps alongside two floating windows. But the experience is less polished: apps waste screen space or glitch, and a 3DMark stress test repeatedly overheated and shut down within 10 minutes. The aluminum frame, mediocre ultrawide camera, noisy hinge, reflective screen and harsh speakers add compromises. The verdict: Xiaomi wins on specs and price, but Apple’s more carefully optimized overall experience still comes out ahead.
