What are the four analyses?

Every video produces four structured analyses:

  • Video summary: a one-line TL;DR plus a short paragraph to grasp the whole thing fast.
  • Section summaries: split by chapter, each with bullet highlights and timestamps.
  • Outline: hierarchical headings — the skeleton of the video.
  • Mind map: the outline and video summary regrouped by topic into an expandable mind map (not chronological; related points share a branch).

If the creator added chapters to the video, the outline follows the creator's chapter boundaries and names. Longer chapters are divided evenly by how much is said, and every part gets its own highlights, so a chapter is covered from start to finish. Chapters that are entirely sponsored content, an ad, a promotion or a request for viewer donations (whether or not the creator labelled them as such) stay on the timeline, but we don't extract highlights from them and they are left out of the mind map and tags. Sponsor reads, discount codes and plugs for the creator's own courses that appear inside other chapters are likewise left out of the highlights, summaries and mind map; when the video itself is a review or walkthrough of that product, it is summarised as usual. For videos longer than 45 minutes, the outline and section summaries scale with how much is actually said (dense parts get more chapters; small talk or silent stretches are not padded into chapters), so the second half of a long video gets the same detail as the first. Requests to subscribe, like or comment at the start or end of a video aren't turned into highlights or split off into a chapter of their own.

All four share the same chapter skeleton, so they line up with each other. Every highlight carries a timestamp; click it to jump back to that spot on YouTube.
